The Family

The Wales Family run this superb home, and all guests beneath their roof are extended editions to the family, both socially and residentially. However, here's a little insight into the 3 women that make this home so homely.

Heversham House was established in 1988 by Mrs. Isobel Wales who is the much-loved matriarch of the family. Isobel has over 25 years experience in caring for the elderly, and many more years caring for her immediate family. Isobel is a registered nurse having worked in both the public and private sectors, on top of a myriad of other qualifications ranging from Management to Medication Awareness.

 

Cynthia Wales is Isobel's daughter who continued in her mother's footsteps to manage the family home. Cynthia is heavily involved in the care and social aspects of the family, having also registered as a Nurse, as well as completing Diabetes Awareness and Dementia Awareness certifications. Cynthia had her wedding reception at Heversham House and has always strived to add a sense of community to the home.

 

Elizabeth Hayek is Isobel's youngest daughter who has gained a BSc in Health & Social Welfare as well as many certifications in sub-categories of care. Elizabeth has brought up her 2 boys all over the world and has a truly international appreciation of care. Elizabeth has now moved back to the Lake District to carry on the fantastic family work.
